Crane Safety Associates of America Inc. would like to welcome Lee Youmans to our family. Lee has come to us with many years of experience in all types of Overhead Cranes, from small systems up too many large and complex systems. Lee will be leading our service team as the new Service manager for our Overhead Crane Department.

We would like to welcome and introduce the newest addition to our Crane Safety Family. Kathy Morris (sales dept.) gave birth to Cooper Brantley Morris, 7lbs ¾ oz on November 27, 2012. We would like to say congratulations to her and her husband Shaun on their beautiful baby boy.

Congratulations to Scott Bales!

Scott Bales recently completed Georgia Tech's Construction Safety and Health Certificate Program. Scott will be able to apply the concepts he learned to the ongoing development of our training programs. Currently Scott is putting the finishing touches on CSAA's new online programs. These programs will provide an avenue for students to study at their own pace in preparation for CSAA's qualification and NCCCO Certification exams. We expect the first programs will be available mid-December beginning with Rigging Fundamentals and Manager's General Awareness courses. Please check back soon to be the first to enroll in these new programs!!!

CSAA will be attending the 2012 Southern Company Contractor Safety Forum November 27-28, 2012 in Montgomery, AL. If you plan to attend please come by our booth to speak with Scott Bales, Director of Safety and Compliance. Scott will be glad to answer any questions you may have about any of our training programs or any of OSHA's requirements regarding crane operations. We look forward to seeing you in Montgomery!
Thank you to all that visited Scott at the 2012 Georgia Safety, Health, and Environmental Conference in Savannah, GA. We had a great turnout and hopefully we were able to provide everyone with useful information. We would like to congratulate Angie Gill for winning the drawing for the Terex model crane. We look forward to seeing everyone at future conferences and events.

2012 Crane Safety Associates of America, Inc. Initiative
Crane Safety Associates of America, Inc. has implemented a plan that will require all CSAA inspectors and technicians to become certified mobile and overhead crane inspectors through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
