CSAA fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), and will prepare canidates for the CCO test.

NCCCO Basic Rigging Certification

CSAA now offers NCCCO Basic Rigging and Articulation Boom Crane certifications.

Training Programs - NCCCO Certification (CCO)

NCCCO Logo Crane Safety fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), and will prepare candidates for the CCO tests.

There are physical requirements for the NCCCO. Candidates must meet those requirments and acknowledge their understanding of this requirement throughout the application process.

The CCO canidate will be required to take written exams and practical exams. The written exam consist of a core exam with questions regaurding crane operation, plus specilty exams pertaining to the equipment such as Crawler cranes, small hydraulic and large hydraulic.

The practical exam allows the candidate to show their proficiency in lattice boom cranes, swing cabs, and fixed cabs.
