Does Crane Safety offer on-site training? Yes, Crane Safety can provide training at your site or ours.
What services does Crane Safety offer? CSAA offers a full line of services such as MCOC training (Mobile Crane Operators Course), mobile crane inspections, Overhead crane inspections, NCCCO training, overhead crane repairs & installations, rigging classes and much, much more.
If we need training and the only time available is on the weekend can you accomplish this? Yes, Crane Safety schedules to the customers needs.
Does Crane Safety provide NCCCO training for Tower Cranes? Yes we do, CSAA has a location in Georgia for Tower crane CCO, or it can be done at the customers site with there crane.
Can I take the NCCCO practical on my crane? Of course you can! But, your crane will have to be certified. Just contact our sales office for further information.
I have taken a mobile crane operator’s course with your company, how long is my competency card good for? Your card is good for two years.
How can I get a replacement competency card? Easy, just call our office at 1-800-356-2212 and someone there can help.
I need a third part inspection on my mobile crane can Crane Safety do this? Yes, CSAA can provide you with a third part annual crane inspection.
Can I be approved as a NCCCO practical test site? Yes you can, there are specific requirements that you will have to meet. You can go to www.nccco.org for further information or call our training dept. for further info.
How long does it take to receive the results of my NCCCO written and practical exams? In the NCCCO handbook it states approximately 12 business days.
How long is My NCCCO card good for? Your NCCCO qualification card is good for five years. Be sure not to let it expire.
I’ve worked in construction all my life, but have never operated a crane. Can you train me to operate cranes? Crane Safety has a program called the “Crane Academy” which is designed to bring you in at the entry level of craning. During this period you will cover the nomenclature of cranes such as set up, rigging, load charts and operation and actually operate cranes etc. Contact our Training Dept. for further information at 1-800-356-2212
How often should my cranes be inspected? Your crane should be inspected frequently, periodically, and annually as designated by standard and regulations.

How long is my Crane Safety competency card good for and how often should I need a refresher course? Your competency card is good for two years and you should go through a refresher every two years.
Can Crane Safety give me a license to operate cranes? CSAA can train you with the knowledge and skills, but it will be up to your employer to determine if you have the qualifications needed.
I have passed my training program through Crane Safety, when can I expect to receive my certification? You should receive your certification with in 10 to 15 business days.
