About Phillip Ezzell
Crane Safety Associates of America, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Mr. Phillip Ezzell. Mr. Ezzell has over 40 years of crane and rigging experience in heavy heavy construction, general industry, shipbuilding, and ship conversion and repair. He has experience as a supervisor/manager of waterfront operations at a major naval facility. He has operated, maintained and managed mobile, overhead, portal, gantry, floating, hammerhead, and tower cranes. He also developed the U.S. Navy's shore based seagoing crane safety training programs. Mr. Ezzell also has many years of experience as a certified instructor and licensing examiner for the Department of Defense and the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. In addition, Mr. Ezzell has extensive experience in the operation, maintenance and inspections of cranes and heavy construction equipment as well as related safety areas, specializing in crane and rigging operations.
Mr. Ezzell founded Crane Safety Associates, his goal was to provide quality safety training and educational programs to the many diverse users of cranes and other hoisting equipment, a tradition that CSAA still follows today. His passion for the safety of all personnel involved in crane and rigging operations is what drives Crane Safety Associates of America, Inc. to be the leader in professional safety training throughout the United States and beyond.
